Heroism

In a sense, heroism is about choice, or more acutely, about the lack of choice. Peter Parker (Spiderman) does not have to act when he hears sirens and Clark Kent (Superman) never has to become a speeding bullet for anyone. But - as we all know, our comic superheroes are usually condemned men and women. They do not see a choice in their actions. "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility".
